Members of the EurBee Association have voted to hold the 10th European Congress of Apidology in 2024 in Estonia. The EurBee 10 congress will be hosted by the Estonian University of Life Science, Tallinn, Estonia. According to the rules of the EurBee association, the new president for the next 2-year period is Dr. Risto Raimets.
Professor Dr. Sara Diana Leonhardt, Technische Universität München, Germany, is the new secretary and PD Dr. Silvio Erler, Julius Kühn-Institut Braunschweig · Institute for Bee Protection, Germany, and Dr Kirsten Traynor, State Bee Institute, University of Hohenheim, Germany are the additional members of the EurBee Committee of the EurBee Association. The position of EurBee Secretary has been held for the past 18 years by Professor Dr. Robert Paxton (he will assist in the transition to a new Secretary).

Oral presentation:
Please take into account that oral presentation can last 13 minutes (10-minutes presentation time and 3-minutes discussion time).
Please check your presentation date/ time /room in the final program, which will be on the Programme page at the official EurBee9 website.
Oral / Symposium presenters are asked to load/check their presentation (PowerPoint for Windows: files *.pptx or*.ppt) at least 4 hours prior to their session commencing to ensure the presentation is checked and tested. When you have to present on the first day, please load/check your presentation immediately upon your arrival on Tuesday 20 September at the venue (Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, address: Studenstki trg 5, 11000 Belgrade).
The speakers’ corner is located at the first floor of the venue and will be open on:
Tuesday 20 September: 07:45 - 18:00
Wednesday 21 September: 08:00 - 13:30
Thursday 22 September: 08:00 - 17:00
Speakers are requested to come to the meeting room at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the session and identify themselves to the chair.
Presenters must take place at seats in front of the room for the duration of the session.
In the interests of fairness, please ensure that you keep to your allotted time frame. The chair will time your presentation and provide you with a warning at 2 minutes remaining and when time is up.
Poster presentation:
We kindly ask you to attend and present your poster during the scheduled poster session.
Please check your presentation date/ time /room in the final program, which will be on the Programme page at the official EurBee9 website.

Open ceremony and welcome reception will be start at 19:00 in the venue "Great Hall" (Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, Studentski trg 5).
Due to the bad weather forecast with rain for the Monday evening, the organizer has changed the previously announced opening ceremony and welcome reception venue (Botanical garden "Jevremovac" open space).

We are sorry that we had to take this decision, but the likelihood of being able to stage the conference successfully in 2020 was low. We will write to all of you in summer 2021 about details for EurBee9 2022.We would like to thank all colleagues who have already registered and sent abstracts for their trust.Already paid registration fees will remain valid, and any individual requests on this issue will be handled with the supporting agency Impala.The EurBee9 website remains active, and all information will continue to be published there.
